    Very good

I liked the fact that the staff were very friendly and that I felt that I could ask for anything that I needed.

The only thing was that the handle on the bathroom door came off and so we could not close the door when we were in there.

    Exceptional

Visited, Waterford, Cobh, Blarney Castle & House. Blarney Mills Shop were there was an extensive knitwear and quality souveniers available

This is not a complaint, But the signing could be better. The directions we downloaded with our reservation was unsatisfactory. We were sent left into Trafalgar Hill and then Lovers Walk. A nightmare!!! The hotel was in fact 250mtrs. on the left just past Trafalgar Hill

    Good

Nice breakfast. Very large rooms. Plenty of parking. Public areas were lovely.

Our bedside light did not work. There were no towels in our room. The public areas were nicely decorated but the rooms seem a bit spartan and dated. It would go a long way if they just added a bit of color to the walls. Also, there was no chair in our room so you could not sit at the desk. Also, there was no ice available that night, although to be fair, there was a big group in the living room and we were told they had consumed all the ice.

    Superb

I really enjoyed my stay here. Good sized room on ground level so I had access to the garden too. Very comfortable and very good value. Got a Dvd player for the room on request. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was amazing!!

Only thing I didn't like was that there didn't seem to be any staff around at night.

    Very good

Excellent guest house with main road location and easy to find. Room was a good size and comfortable. Very good breakfast selection and all round friendly service from the staff.

Whilst the accommodation is easy to find, it is a 20-25 minute walk from the city centre.

    Very good

our room had 2 arm chairs which is unusal but very nice for watching t v instead of sitting on the bed

    Superb

A charming hotel within a country manor, staff were friendly and welcoming, breakfast was excellent and accommodation was very comfortable, I'd definitaly stay there again

WiFi signal in my room was poor, I had to sit at the bottom of the stairs leading to the first floor to access my email - this is not a complaint, merely an observation

    Fabulous

I liked that you got your own set of keys so that you could come and go as you please. Also, I liked that there were big mugs provided with the tea/coffee facilities in the rooms so that you could have a proper cuppa!

    Exceptional

We could not find fault, a breakfast to die for, plentyof choice very well cooked. All the staff friendly and helpful, rooms spacious, well decorated and spotlessly clean. (They even arranged 4 days perfect weather!)

    Very good

Comfortable as a bed and breakfast facility. Breakfast was very good . Nice family atmosphere - you felt that you were house guests and were being well looked after. Enjoyed the rather old fashioned surroundings. Convenient car parking.

Location on a busy main road beside an interchange was a bit daunting. Not suitable for loose kids. Challenging also for traffic access. Not good for walking and a bit far to walk to the city centre. Bathroom needed updating and the provision of a few more comforts such as towel rails or hooks and a shelf for the contents of make up or toilet bags. Tv reception very poor and unable to access bbc1.

    Superb

The Belvedere Lodge which is advertised as a b&b/guest house is closer to being a small hotel. The only difference being that it is not licensed for sale of alcohol. It is an ideal place to stay, very welcoming with excellent facilities. Th e Belvedere was perfectly situated for my stay in ireland. It is close to the main city but not directly in the city. The routes going north south east and west were very accessible. There is ample off street private parking.

The Belvedere is reasonably easy to find if one knows the city. For people unfamiliar with the area it may prove a litttle difficult to locate. If one is approaching the guest house from the east it is difficult to access from the busy road into Cork. Drivers may have to travel on a little furtther, turn around where safe and return to the entrance.

Great value for money. Room is big, furniture is nice. Bathroom is stocked with shower gel and shampoo. Tv is pretty big.

Milk packets in the room were gone off.

    Exceptional

Belvedere Lodge is warm and welcoming. It is very individually styled and rooms are very spacious and comfortable. It is the only place I stay when in Cork for business, the staff are very attentive and approachable but not overly so. Breakfast is fabulous and I would highly recommend it as a great place to stay.
