Was promptly shown to my room by friendly staff. Room was comfortable and clean and roomy. Bathroom good too. Breakfast delicious and quickly served. Enjoyed my staff very much.

    Exceptional

I loved this B&B. The staff, service and just feel of the surroundings were excellent. It was also perfectly placed in Cork for all local sights without being stuck right on the cities main streets. Will absolutely recommend and use again.

The showers are possibly starting to show their age and were a little slow but did not detract from a great stay.

    Superb

The welcome, service and food were excellent, especially from a value for money point of view. This is a quality Bed and Breakfast and one to which I would look forward to returning in the future.

Personally, there was nothing negative to report, though as a word of caution, it is located on a main road so not very easy to 'go walkabout' from here in the city. But for those on a touring holiday, looking for a base for a day or two, it is ideal.

    Good

The location was perfect for me

Staff knocking on your door at 9.30-10am wanting to clean your room. Some of the fixtures and fittings could do with an upgrade

    Exceptional

Clean and cozy, a bit noisy as is close to a main road, but otherwise an excellent Victorian house with a very nice garden in the back. Breakfast was very good and staff polite and friendly. Highly recommended.

    Nice welcome and good breakfast

Bed uncomfortable, too soft roll into middle. No water pressure for shower just a trickle of water. Not located in a very nice part of Cork.

    Very good

Spacious room, nice linen in bathroom. Generally speaking, the accommodation was great. Breakfast was substantial and very nice.

All Sky channels on TV not available. Would have been nice to have commercial style white sheets on bed.

    Superb

Staff very friendly and helpful. Information leaflets given on things to do in area and bus service etc. Plenty of parking space. Lovely gardens. Very near to Cork and Blarney Castle. Comfortable rooms. Excellent breakfast and service. Excellent facilities in room.

    Very good

The breakfast was excellent, so much to choose from, lots of fresh produce. There was a beautful Garden to relax in, or let the children play and explore in. It was so close to the city and a perfect stopover on our way to West Cork

    Good

    Great breakfast friendly staff

On the moring we woke up to go for breakfast we discovered there was flying ants in the bathroom and ants crawling on the bathroom floor and walls as we contacted a staff member to come view it she tried to say they were only spidersd and that this had not happened before there was a press under the sink which she opened which covers in the shores from the ground and this is where the ants were coming from its a disgrace we could not have a shower or bath in these conditions we had to be moved to another room to use the shower the boss was not there to speak to we asked is there anything they can do for our inconvience and there reply was well you got it at a reduced rate which should not matter why have a sale on rooms then? So a staff member contacted the boss and he agreed to a ten euro refund so in the end I did not think the staff was very friendly after all would not stay again.

    Superb

Nice spacious rooms. Comfortable bed and furniture. Excellent service for breakfast, and a nice breakfast room.

The Wi-fi was accessible only in the lounge.

    Fabulous

I liked the location and the friendliness of the staff and the breakfast

I have to say that the water for the shower/ bath was not even luke warm and nothing was done to solve this even after it was reported
